Abstract

Advances in technology and the internet have an important role to develop of advertising in Indonesia especially in media advertising. One of the media that utilizes social media internet is instagram. Instagram became one of the many popular social media. According to katadata site, Indonesia ranks third in the world with the number of users reaches 53 million users. Instagram ever utilized the media producers to advertise with the purpose of promoting a product or brand in order to increase interest and sales of consumer products to buy. There are various forms of advertising in social media, one of them is instagram ad comic strip ads in @fatkomik instagram account. @fatkomik is the strip comic digital content in instagram, provides services advertise with conditions agreed and advertising in the form of strip comic. This research was conducted to find out the effectiveness of drinking bottles @joy.onlinestore ad strip comic. Onlinestore in instagram account @fatkomik to increase consumer buying interest. This research uses the EPIC Model as the calculation of effectiveness. The results of the study prove that drinking bottles @joy.onlinestore ad strip comic. @joy.lonlinestore effective interest rate of 3.48.
