Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work placement, workload on work performance with work motivation as an intervening variable in Yogyakarta Madina Syariah Bank. The population in this study were all employees of Yogyakarta Madina Syariah Bank. The sample in this study were all employees of Yogyakarta Madina Syariah Bank, amounting to 33 people. The research method used is quantitative research. The research variables use four variables namely work placement variables (x1), workload (x2), work motivation (z) and work performance (y). This study uses primary data obtained from questionnaires and then analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) in the Covarian Based SEM approach. The results showed that the work placement variable (x1) had a significant positive effect on work performance, workload (x2) had no significant effect on work performance, while work motivation (z) as an intervening variable had no effect between work placement (x1) on work performance ( y), and work motivation (z) as an intervening variable has no effect between workload (x2) on work performance (y).
