Abstract

This is a research kualitatif data collection techniques, with interviews, observation and documentation. The purpose of this research is to find out how the interpersonal communication process the family learning motivation in children. The subject of this research is a parents in Kocoran village of Karangasem Yogyakarta. Based on results of the study so the researchers advice parents that must always give attention to the child, to accompany the child during the study. Interpersonal communication between parents and children to improve the motivation of learning done face-to-face every day can drive interest in studying children grow slowly. The message conveyed is also persuasive in nature can make it easier for children to receive and understand the message. After the research is done, then the researcher concluded that the role of parents is very important for the development of learning and children with attention from parents also can give a motivation of children.
