Abstract

This study aims to discuss and compare the company's financial and volume of shares before and after stock split. Financial performance variables are proxied by using each financial performance rating ratio that includes liquidity ratios (CR), solvency (DER), profitability (GPM), and activity (TATO). Trading volume is proxied by TVA. This type of research is a study of events that see the market reaction to certain things in this stock split. Using paired sample t-test and Wilcoxon signed rank test. The results showed that financial performance variables that were proxied by CR, DER, GPM, and TATO did not show any significant differences. This is evidenced by the respective significance values of 0.091; 0.466; 0.473; and 0.903 where this result is greater than 5%. Just as interesting as TVA also did not show significant differences. This is evidenced by the significance value of the Wilcoxon test of 0.113.
