Abstract

Teaching students to pronounce hijaiyah letters correctly is not as simple as what is thought. The number of letters hijaiyah in student book is mentioned there are 29. This number is certainly very burdensome for students to master it in a short period of time. KH. Asad Humam as the inventor of the Iqro method 'goes through the section introducing letter names and directly goes into the material of single-sided Hijaiyah letters, namely fathah. The number of pages on Iqro 'volume 1 reaches 35 pages. Of course, for children to master 29 letters, it will take a lonh time. The development of the Qur'anic Hadith teaching materials, on the material: "Understanding the Hijaiyah Letters", which the writer discussed in this paper leads to the making of learning modules in related material using the children's cognitive development approach. Formulation of the problems in this study is how to develop the subject matter of the Qur'anic material Hadis Recognize the Hijaiyah Letters in MI Sananul Ula Piyungan with the development of the ADDIE model ?. The design of this study uses Research and Development (R & D) design. Data was obtained through interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The subjects of this study were grade I of MI Sananul Ula Piyungan students and teachers, as well as validators who were in accordance with their fields. The results of this study indicate that the teaching material of the subject matter of the material Hadiths of Knowing the Hijaiyah letters has been successfully developed by using a child development stage approach. The teaching material prototype recognizes hijaiyah letters consisting of 48 pages containing three learning activities. The first learning activity with the theme of recognizing hijaiyah letters, two learning activities with the theme of recognizing harakat (fathah, kasroh and dhomah), and three learning activities with the theme of reading hijaiyah letters in a community. The results of the validation of various aspects of the assessment have shown very good / decent value. The results of the test stated that the results of students 'understanding increased, with the details of the pre test which showed an average value of 47 and the post test had an average value of 78. The significance of the results was 0,000 which meant that the use of teaching materials was effective in increasing students' understanding of the material first grade letter hijaiyah MI Sananul Ula Piyungan.
