Abstract

An educator is expected to be able to carry out his duties optimally so that in the learning process in the classroom the learning goals and objectives that have been set in the basic competency and competency standards are achieved, then a teacher is demanded to be able to become a teacher in accordance with UUD No. 16 of 2007 on pedagogical competence reflective action is able to conduct Classroom Action Research (CAR). Classroom Action Research is a pedagogical and professional competence of a teacher at every level of the Education unit, one of the Primary School levels is SD Muhammadiyah Pajangan 2 Yogyakarta. Therefore this study examines several focus issues, namely: 1) how the understanding of Muhammadiyah Pajangan 2 Yogyakarta Elementary School teachers in implementing CAR, 2) how the CAR was implemented by Muhammadiyah Pajangan 2 elementary school teachers in Yogyakarta, 3) how CAR reporting in meeting CAR reference standards by Muhammadiyah Elementary School teacher Pajangan 2 Yogyakarta. and 4) What is the impact of teachers who have PTK on improving learning in the classroom. The type of this research is field research with a qualitative approach. The data collection method uses observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis was performed by data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclutions drawing and verification. The results of the research that have been done, show that: 1) The number of teachers in Yogyakarta Muhammadiyah Pajangan 2 Elementary School is 16 teachers but the level of understanding of CAR is 62,5% (10 teachers). 2) The implementation of CAR in elementary school Muhammadiyah Pajangan 2 Yogyakarta by 31,25% (5 teachers), as many as 11 teachers have never or never done CAR because teachers feel that there is not demand that requires doing CAR. 3) Of the 16 teachers, only 5 teachers implemented CAR and 2 CAR documents could be analyzed, namely CAR proposals and CAR reporting. Of the CARs that have been reported and analyzed have good quality, in terms of planning, implementation, improvement, systematics, discussion and have met the standard reference of the CAR theory. And 4) The impact of teachers who have implemented CAR to the improvement of learning in the classroom is the mastery learning indicators are met, improve the quality of learning indicators in the classroom, have a positive impact on teachers, develop more interesting learninng.
