Abstract
This study aims to produce an Android-based e-book on Waste Management in Schools as a Learning Media in the Environmental Pollution material for class X SMA / MA and to find out the quality of an Android-based E-book on Waste Management as a Biological Learning Media in the Environmental Pollution material for grade X SMA / MA. This research includes Research and Development (R&D) research using ADDIE design and is limited to the ADDE stage. Product assessment instruments and student responses in the form of questionnaire sheets consisting of components of material coverage, language presentation, aspects of ease of use of e-books based on android, dimensions of appearance design. Products are assessed and validated by material experts, media experts, peer reviewers. The limited test is carried out by the product assessment by biology teachers and grade X students of SMA / MA. Qualitative data obtained from the assessment results are converted into quantitative scores. Product results according to material experts 85% (very good), media experts 87.86% (very good), peer reviewers 93% (very good), biology teachers 88.89% (very good), and student responses 96.9% (strongly agree). Based on this assessment, this e-book is fit to be used as a source of independent learning for high school / MA students.
