Abstract

Thinking abilities (KBTT) based on cognitive conflicts in static fluid material, 2) Knowing the quality of physics teaching book High Level Thinking Skills (KBTT) based on conflict Cognitive in static fluid matter, 3) knowing students and teachers’ responses to the physics teaching books of high-level thinking skills (KBTT) based on cognitive conflicts in static fluid material. This research is a type of research and development (R&D) with device development procedure Model 4-P developed by Mulyatiningsih where adopted from 4-D owned by Thiagarajan. This Model consists of 4 stages, namely definition, design, development and dissemination. This research was conducted until the development phase of the extensive trial. The research instruments used are validation sheets, grading sheets, response poll sheets, and execution test sheets. Assessment of the quality of physics teaching skills of high level thinking (KBTT) based cognitive conflict on static fluid material using scale likert with scale 4. While the response rating using Likert and Guttman scales, both are made in the form of a checklist. The performance of a physics teaching book uses descriptive analysis. The results of this study, among others, 1) have produced the physics teaching books of high level thinking ability (KBTT) based cognitive conflicts on static fluid material, 2) Student book quality based on material expert assessment, media experts, and physics teachers have Average score of 3.38 with a very good category (SB); 3.18 with either category (B); And the 3.79 with a very good category (SB), for the quality of the book teachers based on the assessment of material experts and media experts have a consecutive average score of 3.39 with excellent categories (SB), and 3.23 with a good category (B), 3) Student and teacher responses on the test Limited indicates the category agreed (S) and strongly agrees (SS) with the average score consecutive 1.0 and 3.67; And the student and teacher's response to the extensive test shows the category of agreeing (S) with an average score consecutive 0.86 and 3.17. The results of the implementation test based on observer observations showed that the products developed could help students develop their analytical thinking and critical skills.
