Abstract

This thesis discusses preservation activities of ancient manuscript collections in terms of the synergy of corporate culture. This study aims to determine the synergy of corporate culture in preservation activities including preventive, curative, and restoration conducted by the Yogyakarta Cultural Value Conservation Center Library. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection methods including observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis method in this study starts from the data collected to be reduced by means of analysis and interpretation, then presented in the form of sentences that are easier to understand. The process of analyzing the data collected by reducing the data is then analyzed and interpreted and then presented in the form of sentences that are easier to understand. Testing the validity of the data using a credibility test (extension of observation, triangulation, and member checking). The results of this study are that the Yogyakarta BPNB Library has conducted various preservation actions in terms of the synergy of corporate culture in terms of preventive, curative and restoration. The researcher suggests that the Yogyakarta BPNB Library prepare specific policies or guidelines in written form in the preservation activities..
