Abstract
The impact of social media on the increasing of people's al-Quran recitation motivation in Dusun Baleluah Desa Darek Praya Barat Daya District Lombok Tengah Regency. This research aims to determine the impact of social media on the increasing of people's al-Quran recitation in Dusun Baleluah Desa Darek Praya Barat Daya District Lombok Tengah Regency. The main focus of this research is the people's al-Quran recitation motivation because al-Quran very important for the Moslems and the al-Quran is the important thing for Moslems people. This research used the qualitative methods, and the technique are observations, interview and documentation. To checking the data using triangulation. technique, and the data analysis refers to the Miles and Huberman that is data reduction, data presentment and verification. The result of this research are. 1.The most widely used social media in Dusun Baleluah, Desa Darek is Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube but use Facebook more often because social media is the most widely as to connect with other Facebook user. 2).Before the people using the social media the people's al-Quran recitation motivation in the highest level. After they use the social media the motivation getting down because the social media expansion.
