Abstract
ABSTRAK Dalam hubungannya dengan pendidikan islam, psikologi humanistic menginginkan suatu bentuk pendidikan yang berparadigma baru. Pendidikan ini nantinya akan memberi tekanan lebih besar pada pengembangan potensi seseorang (peserta didik) terutama potensinya untuk menjadi manusiawi, memahami diri dan orang lain serta berhubungan dengan mereka, mencapai pemuasan atas kebutuhan dasar manusia dan tumbuh kearah aktualisasi diri. Pendidikan ini akan membantu orang menjadi pribadi yang sebaik-baiknya sesuai dengan kemampuannya. Penelitian ini bersifat literer (kepustakaan), sumber data diperoleh dari sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Tipe penelitiannya adalah deskriptif analitik, dan untuk menganalisis data yang terkumpul digunakan metode deskriptif, dan metode komparatif. Nilai-nilai psikologi humanistic dapat di implikasikan dalam pendidikan Islam diantaranya pertama, melalui pengajaran tatap muka.teoritis hasil yang diharapkan dalam pendidikan Islam berkisar pada tiga aspek yakni kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik.. Kedua, melalui masalah dan cara mengatasinya. Masalah dapat dimiliki oleh siswa dan pendidik. Salah satu penghalang utama kea rah tercapainya hubungan baik antara pendidik dan peserta didik adalah kegagalan memahami konsep quot;pemilikan masalah quot;.
