Abstract

ABSTRAK Mathematics as a basic science in learning is still considered as difficultlesson by students because of both mathematics has abstract object of study and also in mathematics teaching and learning process, teachers' teaching method can still be said monotonous and conventional. To create a teaching and learning process which can emerge two ways of communication and help visualize the abstract of lesson's material of mathematics, so teaching and learning mathematics needs to be supported by a media which can increase the quality of teaching mathematics. This research aim is to improve mathematics teaching media in the form of CD containing the main material of One Variable Nonequation. Developing model that is used is procedural developing model, which has descriptive characteristic, patternizing some steps which need to follow in creating product. This development is started by ways to analyze Standard Content continued by media reference gathering then media plan arrangement, and making Teaching and Learning CD. Then, the fixed Mathematics Teaching and Learning CD is consulted to Guiding Lecturer and later it is used to revise the last Teaching and Learning CD. This revised result CD is scored by media expert, teaching material expert, and the students of senior high / MA. This Teaching and Learning CD contains One Variable Non-equation main material of first semester of X grade that is comprised with 5 sub discussion, that is : Linear Non-equation, Quadratic Non-equation, Fraction Non-equation, Root Non-equation, and Absolute Value Non-equation. According to this research's result, teaching media based on interactive multimedia amended has Very Good quality with score up to 114,26 with 135 at maximum and ideality percentage up to 84,63%. So, this teaching media is appropriate to be used for student's alternative media. div
