Abstract

This research aim to to know how visitor exploit service of internet exist in Library of Public of Temanggung, data collecting conducted by using enquette as especial method, interview and documentation as complement method. Population the taken is user using service of internet in UPT Library of Public of Temanggung in September 2012. taken Sampel counted 99 responder by using technique of Accidental Sampling. Analysis the used is Quantitative Descriptive, result of obtained research can be concluded as follows: result of assessment criterion score pursuant to mean is as a whole got by result 2,33. By 16 considered to be indicator to be formulated to become 4 sub of variable that is: Media look for Information, Media transfer of data, Target of communications media, usage of entertainment amusement target. For the sub of Media variable look for Information, average value consumer of internet is 3,33, so that pursuant to mean of visitor very often exploit internet as media look for information. For the sub of Media variable transfer of data, average value consumer of internet is 2.28, so that pursuant to mean of visitor seldom exploit internet as media transfer of data. For the sub of variable of is Target of communications media, average value consumer of internet is 2,34, so that pursuant to mean of visitor seldom exploit internet as communications media. For the sub of variable of[is target of entertainment amusement, average value Exploiting Of Internet By Visitor is 2.00, so that pursuant to mean of visitor seldom exploit internet as entertainment amusement media. With result that way if categorized as a whole visitor not yet exploited internet maximally, however if seen from result of responder to sub of variable internet as Media look for information existence of Internet in Library of Public of Temanggung have in accessing by visitor Keywords: Utilization, internet by visitors
