Abstract
At least there are two kinds of research in language: Classroom research and action research. Classromm research done with direct observation towards what is going on in the class; about how a teacher to begin the lesson, serve the material, evaluate the program or lesson, interaction between teacher and student in the class, situation of the class, and the method used by teacher to close the lesson. Meanwhile, action research is a process of observation used by teacher to know the changing that accures in the classroom. This article is intended to explain the method and procedure of classroom research and action research.
