Abstract

Oracle is a kind of DBMS and it has a lot of version. One of them is XE 10g which is licensed freeware, but it has limitation such as database capacity limited with 4 GB size only. That is Based on this problem writer would like to create a database architecture using concept of Homogenous Distributed Database System using DBMS Oracle XE 10g to optimize its limited capacity. The distributed Databases method which is used is Homogenous Distributed Database System and topology of Partially Connected Network in its data distribution application that is selected in this research to solve the problem of limited Oracle XE 10. That is according to analysis result it was concluded that the implementation of distributed database with the concept of Homogenous Distributed Database System in the prototype of BMT saving and loan Information System was helpful to improve the Oracle XE 10g capacity which is limited by size 4 giga byte Key word: database, distributed databases, Homogenous Distributed Database System, Partially Connected Network, the system of BMT saving and loan information
