Abstract

One of the technologies behind Cloud Computing was Cluster Server virtualization Platform which ensures high service availability for all data stored on the High Available Server. The purpose of the Cloud Computing system was intented to all the services can be accessed in real time, whenever and wherever. Basically, Cloud Computing service scheme run on web-based, so this is a multiplatform computing solutions, ranging from desktop computers to micro devices such as smartphones, can access these services. In this case, the authors emphasize the implementation of virtual machine Web Server with High-Availibility techniques or Failover Cluster running on the Hypervisor Proxmox Virtual Environment (Proxmox VE). Virtualization Platform using Kernel-Based Virtual Machine (KVM). The authors use the method of data collection in the form of literature and interview to the informant. While the research stage is divided into several steps that the system and networking design,system design implementation and system testing. The final result of this research are measured as the value of the consideration to the High-Availibility Cluster system able to handle the issue of service availability and minimize the downtime possibility, thereby increasing Server uptime significantly compared to using a conventional Server.
