Abstract

Transformation Religion Institute of State Islamic Sunan Kalijaga became State Islamic University Sunan Kalijaga brought big enough impIication in scientific improvement, curriculum and learning process. One of them is implementation of scientific and curriculum improvement use integration and interconection approach. Implementation of integration and interconective approach has been lasting for three years, actually be found much dynamic in the field. Pro and contra are happened. This is logic. Eventhough State Islamic University Sunan Kalijaga has been done efforts to transformated integration and interconective approach to whole of academic civitas through seminar, workshop, training, etc. The reality above has been interesting phenomenon to be observed, critized and evaluated. Why is still happened pro and contra in the field? How is the Iectures's attitude toward integration and interconection approach in learning process? How appreciative lectures toward implementation of integration and interconection approach in learning process? The question of problem will be analysized with qualitative and quantitative approach. Quantitative approach used questionaire and SPSS windows programme. Purpose quantitative approach just to describing UIN's !ecturer attitudes to integration and interconnection approach in learning process. ConverseIy, qualitative approach used open question, interview, and observation. Subject who invoIved this research were 35. Result of this research from statistical calculation was, lecturer attitude X 246. It means 100% from sample showed appreciative with integration and interconnection approach to learning process. But this sampel were not representative from the population, and, wo must analysing the rcsult from qualitative approach, which expIore deeper than quantitative approach. Based on result of research can be summarized that implementation of integration and interconective approach is stilI happened pro and versus in the field. This is cauzed it has been not optimalized socialization of integration and interconective approach in the fieId comprehensive.
