Abstract

Fathur Rochman Mursalim , 2013, The Business Development Strategy Convection-Based Community (Case Studies Association Convection Self In Condongcatur, Depok, Sleman) purpose of this study was to determine and describe strategies. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. In this study, the study subjects were (1) Convection Self Association board, and (2) members who are involved in business development activities of community-based convection. And informants were selected as research subjects are treated at the same time as the sample. While the object of the research is a strategy Convection Self Society in developing community-based businesses that exist in the Village Condongcatur, Depok, Sleman. Results of this study was the association convection business development strategy by using the community as independent power base through the development of savings and loans that proved quite effective in improving the economy of the community in the area skew chess. In this study also found weaknesses community business development strategy that is self-limited convection technology, difficulties in marketing their products, difficulties in finding raw materials, and human resources are poorly trained. Therefore, the authors provide recommendations that need the assistance from both government and private sector better, especially in addressing difficulties in obtaining raw materials that are less so when it is receiving a lot of orders are not hampered because of the difficulty of raw materials.
