( STUDI KASUS DI P.T. KRAKATAU WAJATAMA CILEGON, BANTEN )
Salary is a significant element for companies. Therefore, building a system
that can calculate salaries fast with accurate result is indispensable. Changing
system developer with no rule standard will cause problem. This may hamper
institusional performance during the process of paying employees salaries and
wages. This research is purposed to build a system proposal which is information
system of employees’ salaries and wages payment at PT Krakatau Wajatama
Cilegon, Banten, using HMVC (Hierarchical Model View Control) architecture
on framework php codeigniter. This research hopefully results a system proposal
of modulated payment of salaries and wages that has rule standard so it can
decrease problems during the process of system reparation and development
caused by developer substitution.
The method of this system development was built with System
Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach with some phases including analysis,
design, implementation, trial, and maintenance. The program plan is implemented
with Unified Modeling Language (UML).
This research produced a system of salary and wage payment that is
modulated, has rule standard over the process of program development, and has
independence among parts of the system so this can be maintained and developed
more easily. Based on the validity test of system calculation, it shows that the
system can perform calculation accurately 100% valid. Then, based on alpha test,
it shows that the system runs according to developers’ hope while beta
functionality and interface test shows that 66.5% of the examiners agreed upon
system functionality and 79.2% of the examiners agreed upon the quality of
interface and ease of system access. By the explanation above, it can be concluded
that this system of salary and wage payment is worth proposing.
