BERWIRAUSAHA DALAM PROSES PEMULIHAN EKONOMI PASCA
BENCANA DI KOTA PALUThis study aims to analyze the factors that influence the decision of Muslim
communities to choose entrepreneurship and to find out whether natural disasters are
opportunities for people who choose to start entrepreneurship or open businesses
after natural disasters in Palu City. There are seven factors that become the variables
used in this study, namely the family environment, social and social environment,
knowledge, capital, self-efficacy, the level of religiosity, and Islamic business ethics.
The method of analysis in research uses quantitative methods with the type of
descriptive research. This research is aimed at the Muslim community in the city of
Palu, which is opening a business or entrepreneurship after a natural disaster. With
respondents selected as many as 100 respondents. For data collection is done by
giving a questionnaire that uses a 5-point Likert scale. The data that has been
obtained is then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis in SPSS 22.0. The
results showed that partially social and social environment variables, Islamic capital
and business ethics had a positive and significant effect while for family environment
variables, knowledge, self-efficacy and level of religiosity did not significantly
influence entrepreneurial decisions. Then simultaneously the seven variables have a
positive and significant effect with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.485 or
48.5%, which means the seven variables are able to influence entrepreneurial
decisions by 48.5% while 0.521 or 52.1% are influenced by other factors in the flow
this research. Besides that, from the results of the additional questions, most of the
respondents' answers stated clearly that the post-disaster situation gave them the
opportunity and encouragement to get up and choose to open a business
(entrepreneurship) for the economic recovery of the people of Palu City after natural
