The Relation of Watching Advertisement of Social Service via "Cinta
Tanah Air Harus Bayar Pajak" on television to Social Interest in Paying Taxes
(based on surveying on Hamlet Residents of Karanggayam, Caturtunggal, Depok,
Sleman, Yogyakarta) Department of Social Communication Sciences Of
Humanities of State Islamic University of Sunan Kalijaga of Yogyakarta, 2014.
This research is a quantitative research by survey method. The sample of this
study is taken from hamlet residents of Karanggayam Caturtunggal, Depok,
Sleman, Yogyakarta. While the variables of the research are consist of
independent variable (X); the relation of watching advertisement of taxvia “Cinta
Tanah Air Harus Bayar Pajak”, and dependent variable (Y); thesocial interest in
paying taxes.
All this time, the General Directorate ofTaxation experienced a decline in
confidence level from taxpayerscaused by theactsof corruption of unscrupuloustax
officialsrevealed by theorganization ofCorruption Eradication Commission
(KPK).
Social Service Advertisement of tax via "Cinta Tanah Air Harus bayar
Pajak " on television is expected to sensitize taxpayers to meet their financial
obligations. So the state incomes from the taxes sector are met as in expected
budgeted in Rancangan Anggaran Pembelanjaan Negara (RAPBN).
As results of this research, the advertisement tax applied via "Cinta Tanah
Air Harus Bayar Pajak " on television is 0.772 to the public interest in paying
taxes. Sig value is 0.000 <0.05. Finally, it can be concluded that there is relation
between the advertisement tax applied “Cinta Tanah Air Harus Bayar Pajak” on
television and the society in paying taxes. With the variable score of the interest of
paying tax in the amount of 0,852, it may be concluded that the presence of a
positive response from people in Karanggayam, Caturtunggal, Depok, Sleman to
the decision of doing so.
