PADA MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS ISLAM NEGERI SUNAN KALIJAGA
This study aims to determine the role of self-control to online shopping
decisions by students of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The subjects of this
research was students who have online shopping experience, with the total
number of subjects were amount 82 persons. Sampling of the object was taken
based on incidental sampling technique. The research data was obtained by using
the self-control scale and the online shopping decisions scale. Statistical data was
analyzed with Spearmans’ non-parametrics method using SPSS 16.00 for
Windows. The correlation coeffcient value of rxy : -0.104, R2 : 0.490, and p-value
(probability of error) : 0.176 were obtained from the analisys. Based on p-value, it
showed insignificant correlation between self-control with the online shopping
decisions made by student of UIN Sunan Kalijaga, because p-value (probability
of error) more than 0.05.The R2 value of 0.490 in this study showed that
contribute to an effective self-control of 49% of the online shopping decision. It
means there are 51% of the other factors that influence online shopping decisions.
