INDONESIA DAN BANK SYARIAH MANDIRI MENGGUNAKAN
PENDEKATAN RGEC (TAHUN 2011-2015)Financial health of bank is a description of financial performance
throughout certain period to run bank‟s operating activity normally and to be
capable of fulfilling the tasks properly on bank‟s legal rule. The latest assessment
on financial health of bank is based on Bank of Indonesia‟s rule PBI No.
13/1/PBI/2011 and OJK‟s public letter SE.OJK No. 10/SEOJK.03/2014, RGEC
(Risk Good Corporate Governance/GCG, Earnings, and Capital) which is a
substitute of CAMELS method. This research employs the descriptive method
based on quantitative approach with the samples consisting of Islamic commercial
banks, Bank Muamalat Indonesia (BMI) and Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) during
2012-2015.
This research aims to figure out the significant level of financial health of
BMI and BSM through the variables Risk, Good, Corporate Governance,
Earnings, and Capital. Based on the significant level of financial health which is
assessed with RGEC during 2011-2015 envolving Risk Profile, GCG Practice,
ROA, ROE, NOM, BOPO, and CAR, the result shows that the financial health of
both banks is good. There is no significant difference on Risk Profile, GCG
Practice, ROA, ROE, BOPO, and CAR, but on NOM ratio the significant
difference between Bank Muamalat Indonesia and Bank Syariah Mandiri exists.NIM. 12820038 ZAIFUL BAHRI
