Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of religiosity, reference groups, service quality and needs on interest in students of Sharia Financial Management majors of Faculty of Economics and Business UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta to become Pegadaian Syariah customer. The type of research is quantitative research. The data that used in this study is primary data. Data collection techniques in this study is using questionnaires. The technique of data analysis using multiple regression analysis. The results show that service quality and needs have positive influence on interest in students of Sharia Financial Management majors of Faculty of Economics and Business UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta to become Pegadaian Syariah customer, while religiosity and reference groups have negative influence to the interest of students of Sharia Financial Management majors of Faculty of Economics and Business UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta to become Pegadaian Syariah customer. Religiosity, reference group, quality of service and needs simultaneously influenced the interest of student of Sharia Financial Management majors of Faculty of Economics and Business UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta to become Pegadaian Syariah customer. The result of this research showed that coefficient of determination (Adjusted R2) equal to 0,365 which means 36,5% variation of interest become customer of Pawnshops Syariah can be explained by variation from four independent variable while the 63,5% explained by other factors out of this study.
