Abstract

justifyMadrasah and Librray of madrasah is two sides inseparable in educating student so that becomes conscious student to requirement of information. Creates a foundation of study of a life long learning is core program from a library madrasah. Library of madrasah intended here is library that is is not simply providing source of print readings that is is supporting curriculum program madrasah, but is supported with equipment of source of other information, including of supply of internet access. Library of madrasah in now and will come expected to to become center student learning, center of learning, which more giving attention to is study process than information spreading. Library of madrasah gives service to member of public in madrasah and gives service to pupil parent. At library of madrasah function of educasion must be majored. Library program of madrasah is combine effective activities and study strategies and teaching with skill of information or efficiency in accessing information. As institute which share in the field of education, Library of madrasah must stand mensupport purpose of curriculum and purpose of instruksional, assists teacher in teaching its (the student), performs workshop and discuses with old fellow giving motivation to student study. Thereby, becomes heavy burden for library, in this case library of madrasah in sending its (the student) to reach to purpose of life long learning through applying information literacy trough teacher librarian. The year 2000 IFLA/UNESCO also publishs a manifesto about school library, what recognized as IFLA/UNESCO Schol Library manifesto : the school library indium teaching and learning for all. More this manifesto mentions that government, through its (the ministers) having responsibility to education and obliged to develop strategy, policy and plan which in line with manifesto bases. With presents it this manifesto expected able to increase image and function of library of each school. Mission which wish to be reached is that library of school provides information and becoming idea basis for forms public being based on information and science. Library supplies educative participant skilledly learnt life long learning and develops its (the imagination), so that such a the can be powered of they can live for citizen having responsibility. In a job activity report NILIS ( National Institute for Library and Information Science) University of Colombo Sri Langka arises that program done by library of school is focusing to educative participant. Pass various trouble-shooting models which has been done and evaluated and is analyzed, can form educative participant more successly in learning it. They accustomed to be active involved himself in study. This model then is named Information literacy. Literacy for this information something study process which can form agent in education world.
