Abstract

AHMAD MA’ARIF. The System of Cadre Education at Muallimin Muhammadiyah Islamic School Yogyakarta and Muallimin Bahrul Ulum Islamic School Jombang East Java. Thesis. Yogyakarta: Master Program Faculty of Tarbiya and Islamic Teaching. State Islamic University Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. 2017. The background of this study is Indonesian has two Islamic Social Organization Muhammadiyah dan Nahdlatul Ulam (NU) which were establized until now. They both could be the biggest Islamic organization. This was not far from the dedication of someone who continues this organization. Muhammadiyah Muallimin Islamic school Yogyakarta is one of the oldest institution in Yogyakarta that arose Muhammadiyah cadre. Nahdlatul Ulama also has Islamic school that arose the cadres in organization, that is Bahrul Ulum Muallimin islamic school, in Jombang east java. This made the writer to research two institutions. This research has something as a purpose to know the similarity an the contradiction about cadre education system which was applied by Muhammadiyah Muallimin islamic school Yogyakarta dan Bahrul Ulum Muallimin islamic school Jombang East Java. This is qualitative research, using the approach of cases study. The colleting data tecnique is using indept interview method, observation and documentation. Then technique to analyze data is using collecting, reduction, applying data and it’s verification. The technique of data verification is using diligent of investigation, triangulation, and checking data. The value of this research is (1) Cadre education system of Muallimin Muhammadiyah school Yogyakarta and Muallimin Bahrul Ulum school Jombang East Java has the character of each other in practicing education system of mufti cadre, teacher and leader which were in descriptive analyze on five components of education system, they are purpose, teacher, student, education tool, and education environment. (2) The similarity is the purpose of both education instituteis cadre the mufti and teacher who has the soul of Muhammadiyah or Nahdlatul Ulama. Some of same programs are the activity of jumat khatib and micro teaching practice. The diversification are Muallimin Muhammadiyah school has good education system cadre and set by under controlling center leadership Muhammadiyah trought programs which were already managed in curriculum of education but Muallimin Bahrul Ulum school doing the education naturally and not structured in education cadre by daily activity of Nahdlatul Ulama bya focusing the study to learning arabic language trought the study of “kutubussalaf” under controlling by Bahrul Ulum Islamic boarding foundation.
