Abstract

Corporate mudarabah sukuk is one of the instrument in the Indonesian Capital Market as an alternative financing for the company. However, the growth of corporate mudarabah sukuk is fairly stagnant when compared with sukuk that is issued by governments and bonds that are issued by corporations and governments. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the rating, price, yield of sukuk mudarabah, SBIS and the rate of profit sharing of Islamic banking deposit towards the demand for corporate mudarabah sukuk, from January 2013 to December 2016. The analysis method in this research use panel data analysis. The dependent variable is the demand for corporate mudarabah sukuk, and the independent variables are rating, price, yield, SBIS and the rate of profit sharing of Islamic banking deposit. The result of this study shows that rating, price, yield, SBIS and rate of profit sharing of Islamic banking deposit affect the demand for corporate mudarabah sukuk simultaneously. Partially, the price and the rate of profit sharing of Islamic banking deposit has a negative effect on demand of sukuk mudarabah corporate, but the variable yield has a positive effect. The rating and SBIS variable has no significant effect on the demand of corporate mudarabah sukuk.
