Abstract

The Purpose of this researchis to analyze the effect of corporate performance and good corporate governance on ṣukūk rating. The importance of this study to test the results of previous studies that are still different from each other. The sample of this research are 8 companies listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) and registered in PT Pefindo during the period of 2012-2015. Analysis technique used is panel data regression analysis using E-views program 8. From result of chow test and hausman test done then regression test is done by fixed effect technique. The results of regression testing show that simultaneously firm size, growth of company, board of commissioner, and proportion of independent board of commissioner influence to rating of ṣukūk. Partially, the board of commissioners' variables and the proportion of the independent board of commissioners have no effect on the ṣukūk rating, while the firm size has a significant positive effect and the growth significantly influences the ṣukūk rating. The result of the coefficient of determination shows the number of 0.501431 which means that the independent variable able to explain the dependent variable of 50,1% the rest of 49,9% explained by other variables.
