Abstract

This research is back grounded by the fact that even character education is still in a low stage. This is marked by the rise of delinquency news of children adorning on the pages of newspapers. The stories include: Intercepting between friends themselves, declining parental fame, pornography or action porn, brawl between students, drug abuse, drunkenness, scratching, movie watching forno that result in rape underage . This proves that education about religious values is still less successful in forming a commendable character. Akidah morals have a role as a cultivation of student character values. If the students are not taught the morality of belief from an early age feared adult will become a person who has no character. This research tries to describe how the approach or way, method, and result of character education in learning of moral character in MI NW Rekat Lauk and MI NW Dames. This research includes field research (field reseacrh) which is descriptive qualitative. Data collection is done by conducting observation, interview, documentation and triangulation. Data analysis is done by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. He result of the research stated that: (1) The approach and manner of character education on the subjects of Akidah Akhlak in MI NW Rekat Lauk use the approach of curriculum integration, habituation, modeling, direction and guidance, culture, cooperation with parents and society. While in MI NW Dames used the approach of advice, discipline, culture, habituation, and exemplary (2) The teacher method in inculcating the values of character education on the subject Akidah Akhlak in MI NW Rekat Lauk using hiwar or parable method, education with story, exemplary, habituation, advice, targhib, and supervision. While the method used in MI NWDames is the method of habituation, exemplary and integration. Each activity that takes place in the class is always strived to display and provide the character values to be embedded in the students themselves. (3) Results The values of character education implanted in subjects of Akidah Akhlak in MI NW Rekat Lauk and MI NW Dames are religious, disciplinary, democratic, responsible and socially responsible, but it does not mean that other educational values are not embedded .
