Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of library facilities on the user’s interest to visitsBalai Layanan Perpustakaan DPAD DIY. The research is a quantitative descriptive study. This research consists of one independent variable and one dependent variable. Data collection methods in this study use the method of interview, observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The population in this study amounted to 7975 people, while the sample was 99 respondents. Sampling technique in this study uses incidental sampling. This research uses the main instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The instrument validity test uses the product moment correlation formula, and the instrument reliability test uses the Cronbach’s Alpha formula. Data processing in this study uses the IBM SPSS Statistics 25 application. The results of the data analysis show that the library facility variable gets 3,36(very good), and the user’s interest of visiting variable gets 3,26 (very good). The results of simple linear regression analysis yields the equation Y = 11.311 + 0.392X, the correlation value is 0.447, and the coefficient of determination is 20%. Hypothesis testing carried out shows that there is a positive and significant influence between library facilities on the user’s interest to visitsBalai Layanan Perpustakaan DPAD DIY. ( INDONESIA ) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetaui pengaruh fasilitas perpustakaan terhadap minat kunjung pemustaka di Balai Layanan Perpustakaan DPAD DIY. Peneilitan yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini terdiri dari satu variabel bebas dan satu variabel terikat. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan angket. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 7975 orang, sedangkan sampelnya berjumlah 99 responden.Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik incidental sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen utama berupa angket. Uji validitas instrumen menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment, dan uji reliabilitas instrumen dengan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan alat bantu aplikasi IBM SPSS Statistics 25.Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa variabel fasilitas perpustakaan mendapat nilai 3,36 (sangat baik), dan variabel minat kunjung pemustaka mendapatkan nilai 3,26 (sangat baik). Hasil analisis regresi linear sederhana menghasilkan persamaan Y=11,311+0,392X, dimana nilai korelasi sebesar 0,447, dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 20%. Uji hipotesis yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara fasilitas perpustakaan terhadap minat kunjung pemustaka di Balai Layanan Perpustakaan DPAD DIY.
