Abstract

The child-friendly school program is an educational institution that is conditioned as a place that is safe, comfortable, fun for children by ensuring that children's rights are fulfilled. This study aims to evaluate the running of the childfriendly school program at SD Negeri Ngupasan Yogyakarta with the CIPP evaluation model in four components, including: (1) Context component; (2) Input Components; (3) Process component; and (4) Product Components. This type of research used in this research is a type of evaluative research model Context, Input, Process and Product using a descriptive evaluative approach. The data collection techniques used documentation study, observation, and interviews. Then the data analysis was carried out through the process of data reduction, data presentation, conclusions and recommendations. Furthermore, the data validity technique in this study used triangulation of sources and techniques The results of the evaluation research on child-friendly school programs at SDN Ngupasan Yogyakrta using the Context, Input, Process and Product evaluation model resulted in four conclusions as follows: (1) The results of the evaluation were examined on the context aspect of the three sub-indicators that have been formulated showing that the child-friendly school program is feasible. to be implemented at SDN Ngupasan Yogyakarta due to the suitability and accuracy of the background of the problem, goals and objectives. (2)The results of the evaluation of the childfriendly school program in the input aspect in terms of three sub indicators show that the implementation of the child-friendly school program can be implemented because most schools already have the resources needed to assist the implementation of the program. (3)The results of the evaluation of the child-friendly school program in the process aspect based on the results of the analysis of the four sub-indicators as a whole, the implementation of the child-friendly school program shows that the implementation of the child-friendly school program has been going well, although there are still a few shortcomings, especially in the sub-indicators of policy implementation. child friendly school. (4) The results of the product evaluation studied in four indicators show that the objectives of implementing child-friendly school programs have largely been achieved, especially the achievement of school goals in creating a pleasant school environment in accordance with children's development, establishing positive participation between parents and teachers, creating a school environment that is safe for children, However, the indicators of the success of the child-friendly school program in realizing a clean and healthy school environment still need attention. The results of this study recommend that the program be continued considering the many positive things that have resulted from program implementation.
