The results of this study indicate that first, the process of buying and selling transactions between suppliers and retailers in Pasar Setan Maguwoharjo is in accordance with the positive laws in Indonesia, because the buying and selling activities are unconsciously carried out based on Code Of Civil Law Article 1458 Book 3 where the goods are that has been received is the responsibility of the buyer even though the goods are not in the buyer's hands because an agreement has been made. Second, the default that occurs is because the retailer is unable to pay the price of the goods purchased and an agreement has been made between the two parties and causes losses to the supplier. The solutions that can be used to reduce losses are; a. contain notes kasbon notes, b. personal purchase record book, c. restrictions on purchases by suppliers to certain retailers with unfavorable records, and d. apply minimum payment standards in every purchase.
