Abstract

An unwanted impact in the era of disruption is the appearance of an increase in negative traits in the age of the child. Therefore, it is necessary to plant religious moral values early on to minimize the realization of negative traits derived from all the information and experience they will receive. The application of religious moral values is closely related to social-emotional where it can be monitored to the maximum when the child is in an educational institution but there is a possibility of turning around when the child returns to parents with various backgrounds of knowledge and parenting experience. Kotagede is an area where 80% of early childhood education institutions have Islamic labels. Researchers found that children aged 5-6 years old were in the city who showed the same tendency: lying, hard to share what they have, and easy to get angry. Supposedly religious moral values that have been taught in educational institutions with various methods, already attached and can be practiced in children's daily activities. The purpose of this research is to know, to prove, and analyze the influence of parenting models on social-emotional and religious moral values in children aged 5-6 in subdistrict Kotagede. The method that was used is quantitative with this type of correlational research. The research population in this study is all parents of children of group B from kindergarten institutions Aisyiah and RA/TKIT in Kotagede subdistrict. Sampling using random-sampling techniques, technique to collect data using online and offline questionnaires. . The results showed that the parenting model applied by parents of children 5-6 years in Kotagede is a democratic model. The child's socio-emotional proficiency level is 59.8% moderate, and 40.2% high. There was a significant positive influence between the parenting model on the socio-emotional of the child with a regression coefficient of 0.196 and the parenting model on the planting of religious moral values with a regression coefficient of 0.245. The parenting model has a greater role in the cultivation of moral values so that democratic and authoritarian can be applied in the process of planting religious moral values in children.
