Abstract

This research is motivated by the initial findings of the researcher regarding the existence of an editorial in the verses of the Qur'an in the Majmū'ah al-Tażkirah with a different arrangement and form. This study aims to reveal the form of the Qur'anic verse in the editorial of the revelation of the Majmū'ah al-Tażkirah and reveal the meaning of the revelation of the Majmū'ah al-Tażkirah which contains the verses of the Qur'an. The theory used is Julia Kristeva's intertextuality theory. This research is a library research with qualitative method. The data in this study are the revelations of Majmū'ah al-Tażkirah whose editorial contains verses of the Qur'an. Data collection techniques used are reading and note-taking techniques. Data analysis begins by understanding the revelations of Majmū'ah al-Tażkirah thoroughly and investigating the similarities with the verses of the Qur'an and then determining their meaning based on the explanation in the Majmū'ah al-Tażkirah and their intertextuality with the verses of the Qur'an. The results of this study indicate that there are four forms of the Qur'anic verses in the editorial of the revelation of Majmū'ah al-Tażkirah, namely the editorial of one or several whole verses without transformation, the editorial of one verse with transformations in certain parts, the editorial of fragments of verses without transformation, and snippets of paragraphs are accompanied by transformations in certain parts. The verses of the Qur'an are generally rearranged with the same form or with changes in certain parts. Furthermore, six meanings of Majmū'ah al-Tażkirah revelation were found which contain verses of the Qur'an, namely the meaning of good news for Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the meaning of guaranteeing the victory of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad's da'wah, the meaning of instructions for Mirza Ghulam Ahmad on a case, the meaning of affirming the position of MGA, the meaning of da'wah guidance for Mirza Ghulam Ahmad's da'wah, and the meaning of affirming the attributes of Allah. The context of the revelation of Majmū'ah al-Tażkirah which contains verses of the Qur'an in general has an intertext with the context of the life journey and da'wah of the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. as well as the stories of the previous prophets told in the Qur'an. The finding of editorial similarities and the context of the revelation of Majmū'ah al-Tażkirah with the verses of the Qur'an shows that the contents of Majmū'ah al-Tażkirah are heavily influenced by the verses of the Qur'an. This influence was caused by the figure of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad as the author who studied and studied the Qur'an and Islamic religious literature at that time.
