Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of profitability and inflation on the amount of mudharabah deposits with the rate of profit sharing as a mediation. The research that has been done on this topic has not been consistent, so this topic still needs to be researched. To resolve these inconsistencies, this study will use the same sample with the addition of mediating variables and produce different research from previous studies. This research is included in quantitative research. The data used in this study are data taken from the annual reports of each Islamic Commercial Bank (BUS) in Indonesia, the official website of Bank Indonesia (BI), the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and the Indonesian Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The data processing of this research uses the EVIEWS version 12 lite student computer program. The results of this study indicate that Return On Assets (ROA) and inflation partially affect the rate of profit sharing for mudharabah deposits but inflation has a negative effect and the rate of profit sharing also partially affects the amount of mudharabah deposits. ROA and inflation affect mudharabah deposits with profit sharing as a mediation.
