Abstract

This study aims to measure the effectiveness of comics on Instagram social media in convey Islam da'wah on the @abun_nada. Instagram account itself is one of them social media that can be used as a means in conveying Islamic da'wah. One of them a way to convey Islamic da'wah is to use comics. Comic is a visual communication where there are stories and images to convey messages or information to be easy to understand by readers. This study uses a quantitative survey method. To measure the effectiveness of comics on Instagram social media in conveying Islamic da'wah, researchers distributed questionnaires to followers of the @abun_nada account, then analyzed using the EPIC Model. From this research the Result of Islamic comic on @abun_nada's instagram account is very effective with the average score of EPIC Model 4,51. So it can be concluded that instagram is social media which is suitable for conveying Islamic da'wah by using a way Instagram comics because it supports to share photos and images. In addition, Instagram social media also acts as a medium of communication between fellow Instagram users.
