Abstract

The goal of this research is to see how gender inequality affects Indonesia's economic growth from 2015 to 2020. The variables in this study are education, which is proxied by the average length of schooling, health, which is proxied by life expectancy, employment, which is proxied by labor force participation, and politics, which is proxied by women's participation in parliament and its impact on economic growth. The data used in this study contains time series data from 2015 to 2020, as well as cross section data from 34 Indonesian provinces. Panel data regression was employed as an analytical technique in this study, with the Fixed Effect Model being the best model chosen (FEM). According to the findings of this study, the average length of schooling for men and women, the male to female life expectancy ratio, and women's involvement in politics all have an impact on Indonesia's economic growth. The labor force participation rate ratio, on the other hand, has little bearing on economic growth.
