Abstract

The research aims to (1) develop pocket books based on Augmented Reality (AR) electrostatic material as a learning medium, (2) know the feasibility of pocket books based on Augmented Reality (AR) electrostatic material as a learning medium, and (3) know the student's response to pocket books based on Augmented Reality (AR) electrostatic material as a learning medium. This type of research is development research or Research and Development (R&D). The development of this study uses ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) but researchers limit it only to the Implementation stage. The research instruments used in this study are validation sheets, assessment sheets, and student response sheets. Pocket book quality assessments and Augmented Reality (AR) applications using a four-scale Likert scale consisting of Excellent, Good, Less, and Very Less are created in the form of a checklist, while the learner's response assessment sheet uses a two-scale Guttman scale consisting of Agree and Disagree shared via G-form. The results of research on the development of Augmented Reality (AR) based pocket books on Electrostatic materials for class XII students at SMAN 1 Wiradesa, are: (1) Augmented Reality (AR) based pocket book was developed based on needs analysis at the research site; (2) the quality of Augmented Reality (AR) based pocket books earned a percentage of 77.92% for material experts with decent categories, 87.78% for media experts with very decent categories, 94.85% for graphicians with very decent categories, and 92.63% for physics teachers with very decent categories; and (3) the response of learners obtained an overall percentage result of 95.88% with a good category.
