Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of motives for viewing Husain Basyaiban's content on Tiktok media on audience satisfaction. The design of this research is a quantitative research. Methods of data collection using probability sampling method. The technique of determining the sample using proportionate random sampling. The population in this study were all followers of Husain Basyaiban on Tiktok media. The sample size is 200 respondents. The data analysis technique used is Descriptive Analysis and Quantitative Analysis using simple regression analysis techniques. The conclusion in this study is that there is a positive and significant influence on the Motives for Watching Husain Basyaiban Dakwah Content on Tiktok Media on Audience Satisfaction. The Personal Identity Motive Indicator has the greatest influence on the satisfaction of followers who watch Husain Basyaiban's da'wah content on Tiktok media. Indicators of Integrity Motives and Social Interaction have the lowest influence on the satisfaction of followers who watch Husain Basyaiban's da'wah content on Tiktok media. The suggestion of this research is the result of descriptive analysis of the respondents' answers indicating the highest motive, namely Personal Identity Motive. Therefore, through this content, it is necessary to increase other motives so that they can meet the needs of the audience in accordance with the concepts and theories put forward by the experts in this study. Suggestions for future researchers, use a larger sample size with broader criteria and include all elements of the population so that the results obtained can better reflect the actual conditions. Researchers are also aware of the limitations in this study, data mining may not be in-depth, therefore it can be done by developing this model by adding other variables or indicators that have not been used in this research model which are related to the topic of Viewing Motives and Audience Satisfaction.
