Abstract

Journey Of Religion is one of the programs on The Leonardo's youtube channel which raises the issue of religious moderation against a backdrop of religious diversity in Indonesia. This program focuses on discussing the spiritual journey in looking at life's problems from various religious perspectives in Indonesia. In the Journey Of Religion edition, Habib Ja'far explains the meaning of religious moderation from an Islamic point of view. This study aims to find out how the meaning of religious moderation is constructed in the Journey of Religion through Habib Ja'far's presentation. The theory used is Roland Barthes' semiotic theory and Peter L. Berger and Thomas Luckman's social reality construction theory. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of content analysis research (content analysis). While the data collection technique uses documentation and literature study techniques. From the results of this research analysis it can be seen that in constructing the meaning of religious moderation in Habib Ja'far's edition of Journey Of Religion content at the externalization stage, it is illustrated through Habib Ja'far's logical view when observing the phenomenon of religious moderation in society which must be realized including aspects of tolerance, aspects middle attitude, and pioneering aspects. Whereas in the objectification stage, it is described through Habib Ja'far's way of addressing the characteristics of religious moderation in society which must be realized including priority aspects, balance aspects, anti-violence aspects, and deliberation aspects. And at the internalization stage, it is described through the efforts made by Habib Ja'far in undergoing the current phenomenon of religious moderation including aspects of justice and aspects of innovation that must be realized.
