Abstract

Islamic education essentially has a very broad meaning and role in the development of society. Educational activities that were born and grew up in the community became the beginning of the development of Islam and Muslims, both in terms of quality and quantity. Islamic education has even become a benchmark, how Islam with Muslims has played its role in various aspects of life, specifically in the social sphere of society. Therefore, the urgency in transforming the education system is the right step to take in order to improve institutional developments, especially preparing the Qur’an generation in the midst of the global era. Researchers are interested in conducting research at the TKA-TPA-TQA-MDT Margoyoso Pakualaman Yogyakarta institutional unit which is under the auspices of the Najmi Dhabit Kiram Foundation, because in a short period of time, this institution realized the transformation of the education system and was able to make the establishment as Pilot TPA three in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive research method, tacking a background in the TKA-TPA-TQA-MDT unit Margoyoso Pakualaman Yogyakarta institution. The data collection was taken using in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Then the tachnique of taking informants using purposive sampling technique. For data validity using source triangulation. And data analysis is done by selecting and compiling the data otained, then processed and analyzed so that conclusions can be drawn. The results of this study show that: 1). The process of transforming the educational institution system is carried out through three stages, namely; The unfreezing stage is marked by an attitude of awareness built by the director of the institution and his subordinates about the importance of a change to be made through a form of coordination in an internal meeting forum. The transitional stage (moving) is marked by making gradual changes starting from the concept of the education program that will be implemented, planning activities according to community needs, managing institutions that can run diligently and sustainably, to the placement of female students and female students. Finally, the maintenance stage (refreezing) is marked by the realization of the results of the changes by new methods used with evaluations to stabilize the education program development. 2). Important aspects in the transformation of the institution's education system include six aspects, namely students, educators, teaching and learning activities, educational units, infrastructure, curriculum and internal relations. 3). The consequences of the transformation of the educational institution system include four consequences, namely human resources, institutional governance, funding sources and social segments.
