Abstract

Language and motor development is very crucial in early childhood education. Learning through meaningful play activities is supported by game tools. So it is necessary to innovate educational games for early childhood that are fun and meaningful so that aspects of development are optimal. Playmate Bilingual is an educational game tool designed to improve the language and motor development of early childhood. This study aims to analyze the implications of Playmate Bilingual educational games on the language and motor development of early childhood. The type of research used is research and development (RnD) with five stages namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Data collection techniques used observation checklists, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The results of the study show that: (1) The development of children's language and motor skills is feasible and effectively enhanced through bilingual playmate educational games. (2) Playmate Bilingual is oriented to improve the language and motor development of early childhood in accordance with developmental achievements, difficulty levels, and has an attractive design. (3) there are implications of the used of Bilingual Playmate for language and motor development of early childhood.
