Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs represent a company's social responsibility, encompassing the Triple Bottom Line concept: profit, people, and planet. Companies aim not only to seek profits but also to consider the welfare of society and environmental sustainability. One example of a sustainable CSR program is the PETRA Program (Traditional Koro Tempe Management) implemented by PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Fuel Terminal Rewulu for KWM Berlian Progo. This program aims to increase the productivity of housewives considered less productive by preserving local foods, reducing dependence on expensive imported soybeans, and utilizing marginal land for the cultivation of koro beans. This study aims to describe the role of CSR PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Fuel Terminal Rewulu in empowering the community in Padusunan Babakan and the empowerment process leading to the program's success. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with informant selection using cluster random sampling. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation, with validation using triangulation and data reduction processes. The research results show that the community empowerment from the PETRA Program has been successful, evidenced by the productivity of housewives through regular activities carried out at KWM Berlian Progo. Corporate Social Responsibility has played its roles according to Jim Ife's theory, including educational roles, facilitation roles for KWM Berlian Progo, educational and facilitation roles for farmers, and representation roles in role of representatives in establishing partnerships.
