Abstract
The art of beautiful writing (Kaligrafi) has a very high position in the history ofislamic civilization. The art ofkaligrafi are merely seen in some papers, cover of books, stones, wood and also glasses and another things either small or big as decoration. The ventures ofislamic kaligrafi has been appreciated by artists around the world. However, there is fundamental problems whether the art ofkaligrafi is a sacred thing or profane ones, and what our attitude towards the problem of justification on the prohibition ofsclupture and painting which its objects is lived creatures. These forementioned problem will be discuss futther in this paper.
