Abstract

The aims of this research is to discover the students’ response and teacher’s feedback toward the worksheet by administering one to one evaluation, small group evaluation, and field trial; and to know the implementation of the lesson plan and how the worksheet affect students’ achievement and motivation in learning chemistry. This research is an advanced Research and Development (R & D) the study conducted by Khoiriah Istiqomah. The subject of this study is grade ten students of SMA Muhammadiyah Sewon Bantul. The sample is taken randomly and sufficiently. The design of this research consists of three steps i.e. one to one evaluation, small group evaluation, and field trial. The instruments to collect the data are pieces of advice, questionnaire, and observation. The data were analysis technique used is categorization technique by converting the quantitative data to the qualitative data. The mean score of students’ response towards the worksheet is 77.5 categorized as good. The students’ feedback after the field trial becomes the consideration to revise the worksheet. The implementation of the teaching and learning process is already appropriate with the lesson plan categorized as good. It shows that the worksheet, for teacher’s, is easy to use. The effect of the product observed from the students’ achievement in learning chemistry shows that 100% the students’ to pass learning chemistry, as for observed from students’ motivation is good with the mean score 74.57. Thus, the worksheet is appropriate to be used as learning media and to be published. Keywords: chemistry worksheet, stoichiometry, research and development
