Abstract

Area of Patani in the past known as South Thailand port polities and have owned important role become link between Islam Arab nations, Europe and Chinese merchants. Patani society in the history was also known as multiethnic society by geographical position effect in frontier area predominated by Malaysia Melayu-Muslim nation and predominated by Siam Thai-Budha nation. Roles of history of Patani Monarchic in the past as Islam center growth in South-East Asia have pushed the faithfulness growing of society and binding strength enough culture feel among Patani Malay Nation. Considering the role of history growth of Islam in the big past, hence, Islam for Patani Malay Nation is represent inseparable identity. The strong Islam identity factor support independence movement in Patani with society ideology form nation shared sense of peoplehood, feeling togetherness from an nation. The mentioned push incidence allienate feeling as differing faction from Thai nation who was majority.
