Abstract

The research entitles "The Culture o/Muakhi and local development. " The relevant concept o/muakhi with local development can be analyzed based on philosophy of social approach with focusing on the local culture. Muakhi as an ethical value and attitude is based on brotherhood and equality. It is a philosophical concept as a basic values of social ethic in Lampung Pubian community. Muakhi can also be taken as a approach to settle social, cultural, economic, and political problems. So in developing the study of social, the concept o/muakhi can be taken as a new theory by taking its value, and norm for empowering local community and local development in a large.
