N2  - This study is aimed to determine the relationship between internal locus of control
with career maturity on student of Psychology State Islamic University and to
determine difference career maturity between student the conscripts of the 2008
class with 2011 class. The subjects were student of Psychology State Islamic
University Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta totalled 70 people, consist of 35 people
student the conscripts of the 2008 class and 35 people of the 2011 class. The
sampling technique research using purposive sampling technique. Data collection
methode used is the scale of internal locus of control and career maturity scale.
Data analysis was done by using product moment correlation test and
independent sample t-test. The result showed that : 1. There is a significant
positive relationship between internal locus of control with career maturity on
student of Psychology State Islamic University the conscripts of the 2008 class
with 2011 class, this is shown with correlation coefficient rxy = 0,809 with p =
0,000, so concluded that the first hipothesys is accepted. 2. There isn?t difference career
maturity between student of Psychology conscripts of the 2008 class with 2011
class, this shown that value of t = 1,449 with p = 0,152,so concluded that the second
hipothesys is rejected. 3. Internal locus of control contributes to career maturity
amounted to 65,4 %, shown with R square = 0,654.
