        abstract = {The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of relationship
among social's support parent with reading interest on students at SMP N 16
Yogyakarta. Its research hypothesis is there is positive relationship among social's
support parent with reading interest on students at SMP N 16 Yogyakarta. Social
support parent therefore reading interest on SMP N 16 Yogyakarta. Subjek in this
research are students SMP N 16 Yogyakarta. The number subjects on this research it
is as much 100 person.
The methodology of this research is quantitative research. The data are
obtained using, social's support parent scale and reading interest scale. The data
analyzed using product moment of Pearson, by helped utilize analisis SPSS's tech
program for is windows 16.0.
The result of this research are there are a positive effect between trust in
relationship among parent social support with reading interest by correlation
coefficient r = 0,520 with p = 0,000 (p{\ensuremath{<}} 0,05). Parents social support have
contribution as big as 28\% to reading interest students SMP N 16 Yogyakarta.}
