"Magnetite synthesis modificated by gallic acid (Fe\r\n–GA) using\r\nsonochemistry–coprecipitation method assisted by ultrasonic wave with 200 kHz\r\nfrequency has been synthesized. Synthesized process has been accomplished in\r\none step. This study is intended to develop environmental-friendly adsorbent, i.e\r\nmagnetite synthesis modificated by gallic acid, as the adsorbent for gold recovery. \r\n3\r\nProduct of synthesized was caracterized using Fourier Transformation\r\nInfra Red (FTIR) and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). Application of Fe\r\n–GA was\r\nused to adsorp [AuCl\r\n4\r\n]\r\n-\r\n. Influence of pH, term of interaction and adsorption\r\nisotherm on adsorption-reduction process [AuCl\r\n4\r\n]\r\n-\r\n were studied. The gold\r\nadsorbed on Fe\r\n3\r\nO\r\n–GA was confirmed using stereo microscop optic.\r\nThe result of the study shows that Fe\r\n4\r\n3\r\nO\r\n4\r\nO\r\n4\r\n3\r\nO\r\n–GA on the adsorption [AuCl\r\n is\r\noptimum at pH 3, and the term to raise the adsorption balance is 15 minutes.\r\nMeanwhile, the appropriate model of isotherm to be absorbed on Fe\r\n–GA is\r\nLangmuir isotherm model with maximum capacity of adsorption was 0,00042\r\nmol.g\r\n-1\r\n, Langmuir constanta value adsorbed [AuCl\r\n4\r\n]\r\n-\r\n on Fe\r\n3\r\nO\r\n-GA is 476190,47\r\nL.mol\r\n-1 \r\nand energy of adsorption is 32,934 kJ.mol\r\n-1\r\n4\r\n."^^ .
